Wolfgang Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer is absolutely fabulous for producing that elusive, show-ready wet-shine look. This polish actually enhances and preserves your vehicle’s paint surface by deep cleaning to remove embedded dirt and old wax, without abrasives or harsh chemicals. It minimizes swirls and scratches in the paint, making them seem to disappear. When you’ve completed polishing, your car’s surface will be clean and glass-smooth—the best possible surface for applying wax.
Wolfgang Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer is truly in a class of its own. Most polishes get their shine-power from potent VOC solvents—not exactly kind to paintwork. Our Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer is a mild oil-in-water emulsion. It will not dull or dry the paint, even with dedicated use. This gentle water-based formula makes it ideal to use on expensive finishes and antique, collector, and show cars.
Applying Wolfgang Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer is incredibly easy. It doesn’t require a lot of elbow grease. Simply wipe it on, allow to dry until hazy, then buff gently with a cotton or microfiber detail towel to a gorgeous, high-sheen enhanced surface. Follow polish with a protective coat of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealent.
Tech Note: Wolfgang Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer is formulated to remove old wax and other pollutants, revealing the original showroom-quality paint and producing a liquid shimmer finish. Since it doesn’t disturb the paint or clear coat in the least, it cannot REMOVE scratches and swirls from the surface, only camouflages them. The polish smoothes the paint surface, preventing the sun from reflecting off sharp edges. Micro-fine fillers in the polish settle into swirls and scratches for optimal surface enhancement.
Usage Tips: To maximize the effectiveness of Wolfgang Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer, apply out of direct sunlight onto a freshly washed, cool surface. The polish may be applied by hand or buffer, to equal satisfaction. Always follow up the polish application with Wolfgang’s Deep Gloss Paint Sealant or your favorite wax or paint sealant.
Hand Application: Apply a nickel-size amount to a to a clean terry or microfiber pad. (This amount should be sufficient for half the hood or an entire fender.) Working on a small area, massage the polish across the surface several times. Allow a slight haze to appear. Use a clean terry cloth or mircrofiber cloth to buff the surface to a sparkle.
Machine Application: Apply a thin line of polish around the perimeter of a dry foam pad. Work with areas of about three square feet (half the size of a hood) at a low speed until product almost dries to a film. You will need to make several passes. Allow Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer to dry completely. Use a microfiber or terry bonnet to buff off the haze. Or, manually buff away the film with a clean terry cloth or a microfiber cloth. Note: This product is not designed for use with a high speed buffer.
