Ultima Paint Guard Wash is a high technology car wash formulation that uses better science to produce a super gentle soap (not a detergent) that cleans without removing any protection. It neutralizes with fresh water and is environmentally friendly.
A single ounce of Ultima Paint Guard Wash is all that's required to make 3 gallons of wash solution that produces great smelling, silky smooth suds. Not only is it hyper-concentrated but it is super easy to rinse.
Ultima Paint Guard Wash continues to suds and clean in conditions that make all other products go flat. Even filthy tires and wheels are no match for Ultima Paint Guard Wash.
Intructions for use: Ultima paint Guard is not a detergent; it is a wash soap. Heavy soil, such as caked-on brake dust may require a dtergent cleaner or heavy agitation to break loose. After thorough cleaning and treatment with Ultima Paint Guard Plus and Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus, all exterior surfaces of your vehicle will easily wash up with Ultima Paint Guard Wash.
Preparation : Proir to use, you must thoroughly rinse your vehicle. Failure to thoroughly rinse may lead to paint scratches from grit and other forms of hard contamination.For best results, wash in the shade or when the sun is low in the sky. To avoid swirl marks, use a high quality wash mitt. Dedicate a seperate wash mitt or sponge for the tires, wheels, rocker panels and lower valances.
Mixing : One ounce will make 3-4 gallons of wash solution. We recommend filling a 5 gallon bucket 2/3 full with cool water, then add 1 ounce of Ultima Paint Guard Wash. Using a stiff jet stream of water, fill the bucket to fully activate suds.
Application : Always start at the top of your vehicle. As the suds run down your car, they will take more loose dirt and grit with them, reducing opportunity for scratching and producing swirl marks. No pressure is needed, let the wash solution do the work. Use plenty of wash solution and rinse your wash mitt often (see our article on the two bucket method. Do not allow suds to dry on your vehicle. Rinse frequently and dry immediately after final rinse.
